East Woods Presbyterian Church welcomes author and screenwriter Matt Mikalatos with a presentation, "The Real St. Nicholas," from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Dec. 7. He will share research into the real-life inspiration for Santa Claus.

Plum Blossom Zendo meets 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays on the second floor of Bauman Chiropractic, 202 E. McLoughlin Blvd., Vancouver.
