North Clark Historical Museum will present a mini exhibit this month featuring Forest Fire Lookouts in Skamania County. Lookouts were built on top of high mountain peaks and were manned by individuals to look for signs of forest fires. During WWII, they were also used as aircraft warning stations to watch for enemy aircraft flying over the area.
