Jane Weber Arboretum Second Saturday work party will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 9. This month the work party will focus on removing a hawthorn tree, with lessons from Caretaker John about safely removing trees. Refreshments are served after.
WSU Extension volunteers will be offering free canning gauge testing through Sept. 30 at various locations in Clark County. To have a gauge tested, bring the lid and gauge attached.
