HOPE Dementia Support Group is a weekly support group for those caring for individuals living with all types of dementia. Held on Monday afternoons at Highgate Senior Living, 9803 NE Hazel Dell Ave., from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Kids in grades 1-5 can practice their literacy by reading to Scamp the therapy dog at the Camas Public Library. Parents can sign their children up for a 15-minute time slot between 4 and 5 p.m. on the third Monday of every month. Register is required at CamasPL.org/TalesWTails.
The Camas Public Library hosts the Close Knit knitting group on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. Create and converse with new crafty friends while knitting, crocheting or working on other fiber arts projects. Attendees are asked to please bring their own supplies. This program is only for adults. Sign up at CamasPL.org/closeknit.
