HOPE Dementia Support Group is a weekly support group for those caring for individuals living with all types of dementia. Held on Monday afternoons at Mallard Landing Assisted Living, 813 S.E. Clark Ave. in Battle Ground, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Camas Public Library will offer a weekly writing workshop for teens in grades 6-12 and adults from 2:30-4 p.m. each Monday in November. Those working on novels or other projects can come to the library for quiet, dedicated writing time. This weekly gathering is in conjunction with National Writing Month.

Kids in grades 1-5 can practice their literacy by reading to Scamp the therapy dog at the Camas Public Library. Parents can sign their children up for a 15-minute time slot between 4 and 5 p.m. on the third Monday of every month. Register is required at CamasPL.org/TalesWTails.
The Camas Public Library hosts the Close Knit knitting group on Mondays at 4:30 p.m. Create and converse with new crafty friends while knitting, crocheting or working on other fiber arts projects.
