Dayley Dance Academy Northwest presents its Holiday Dance Show and fundraiser. There are three showtimes: 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, and at 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15. Tickets are $12 in advance (available online at www.dayleydanceacademy.com/non-profit) or $15 at the door. Proceeds benefit Dayley Dance Academy Northwest, a nonprofit group whose mission is to develop young artists in our community and provide performance opportunities.

Memoir-writing Workshop: Stories That Resonate

Participants will do some writing in this free workshop that teaches "the art of the memoir," taught by artist and author Marilyn Stablein from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
