Volunteers from Covington House, 4201 Main St., Vancouver, will be available to teach chess from noon to 3 p.m. March 17. The free workshop is best suited for children over age 6. Adults are also welcome. Refreshments will be offered and puzzles and board games will be on hand to occupy younger siblings.
