At 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 and June 8, see magnificent Northwest Coast native masks, songs, dances and stories come to life in the glimmering firelight of Lelooska Museum's Kwakwaka’wakw ceremonial house. The Lelooska Family shares these important rights, crests and privileges during its living history programs. Set in the fire-lit replica of a Kwakwaka’wakw ceremonial house, the living history program consists of dramatic narration and dance presentations of traditional Northwest Coast ceremonial masks. Chief Tsungani and the Lelooska Family dancers bring each mask to life with song, dance, story, and regalia that illustrate the particular cultural aspect of the mask.
