The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra‘s 2023/24 season continues with two masterworks on Feb. 24-25 at Skyview Concert Hall, 1300 N.W. 139th St., Vancouver. The program includes Gustav Mahler’s “Symphony No. 5” and William Alwyn’s “Hydriotaphia,” conducted by Maestro Salvador Brotons. One hour before the program on both performance days, a pre-concert talk on the history of the works will be offered in Skyview Concert Hall for all ticket holders.
