Magenta Theater, 1108 Main St., Vancouver, presents “Steel Magnolias,” playing May 3-19. This play follows the lives of six extraordinary women, showcasing their friendships, laughter and the strength they draw from one another. Performances are 7:30 p.m. May 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 with 2 p.m. matinees May 5, 12 and 19. Tickets are $25 at magentatheater.com or $28 at the door.
