Washougal High School presents “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”

Washougal High School presents “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” based on the book by Roald Dahl, playing May 10 through May 18 at 1201 39th St., Washougal. In this new version of the classic story, Charlie longs to tour the Wonka factory and searches for the elusive Golden Ticket. This musical blends songs from the beloved 1971 movie with new tunes by the composers of Hairspray. Showtimes are 7 p.m. May 10, 11, 17 and 18 with a matinee show at 1 p.m. May 18. All tickets are $10 at the door.
