The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra presents Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra will perform Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade,” directed by Salvador Brotons with harpist Cristina Montes Mateo. The program will also include Montsalvatge’s “Concerto Capriccio for Harp and Orchestra” and a work from composer Dr. Kim, “Dongchimi,” arranged by Brotons for symphony orchestra. Performances are 7 p.m. April 12 and 3 p.m. April 13 at Skyview High School Concert Hall, 1300 N.W. 139th St. in the Salmon Creek area north of Vancouver. Tickets are $15 to $47 at vancouversymphony.org.
