Martin Luther King, Jr., Day of Service Event at Pacific Park Demonstration Garden

Washington State University Clark County Master Gardeners will host a day of community service in honor of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Volunteers are needed to work in the Natural Demonstration Garden at Pacific Park, 1515 N.E. 164th Ave., Vancouver, from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 15. Volunteers should enter from N.E. 172nd Ave.

The event starts with a tour of recent design updates and then volunteers will work on winter tasks such as weeding and pruning. Students should dress for the weather and bring water.
