The Vancouver Symphony’s Chamber Music Series presents Frank Borzage’s 1927 film, “7th Heaven,” at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., Vancouver, at 7 p.m. Jan. 25. The film was nominated for Best Picture (then called Outstanding Picture) at the first Academy Awards, and won Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Janet Gaynor won Best Actress. The film will be accompanied by a period-authentic live score compiled by Rodney Sauer of the Mont Alto Motion Picture Orchestra and performed by Sauer, Eva Richey, Dieter Ratzlaf, Bruce Dunn and Igor Shakhman.
