Friends of Trees Hosts Tree Planting in West Vancouver

Friends of Trees is hosting a tree-planting from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 24. Volunteers should meet at Vancouver First United Methodist Church, 401 E. 33rd St., Vancouver. Dozens of large (6-10′ tall) trees will be ready for planting. Volunteers should arrive by 8:45am to sign in and be assigned to a planting crew. Planting starts at 9 a.m. Friends of Trees will provide gloves, tools and planting guidance, as well as breakfast snacks and hot beverages.
