The Reindeer Block Party, featuring two live reindeer, will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, on Main Street between 23rd and 24th streets. Craft and food vendors will line the block. Christmas tree permits for the 2019 season are available for purchase. Permits are $5 per tree with a limit of five permits per household. This year the Gifford Pinchot National Forest is one of thirteen national forests offering permits online as well as in person. Christmas tree permits purchased online will need to be printed to be valid. Purchase and print an online permit at https://openforest.fs.usda.gov.
