Spring Festival in Ridgefield

Ridgefield will host a Spring Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 4. Activities will be located throughout downtown, including at Davis Park, Overlook Park and Abrams Park. First Saturday vendors will be set up selling local produce and artisan goods from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Davis Park. Ridgefield Art Association’s annual Spring Art Show is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the library. The public can vote for their favorite piece of art from over 50 entries. An “art bar” will be located outside the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with art supplies and activities for all ages. The One-Eyed Kates will play live music from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Overlook Park. Lawn games, including volleyball, yard dice, giant jenga, corn hole and spike ball, will be offered from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Overlook Park. Junebug Play will offer kids’ activities from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. including a sensory table, activity dice, a play tunnel, corn hole, chalk and a bubble machine. Free treats will be given away at noon in Overlook Park. There will also be a plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Abrams Park with hanging baskets, sun and shade planters, home grown veggies and flowers, herbs, shrubs and color spots.
