Screening of Oscar-Winning Film, “No Other Land”

The Peace and Justice Ministry of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church invites the community to a screening of “No Other Land,” winner of the 2025 Academy Award for Best Documentary, at 3 p.m. May 24 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8310 MacArthur Blvd., Vancouver. This film, which offers an unflinching look at community resistance and hope amid specific challenges in the West Bank, currently has no U.S. theatrical distribution so the showing offers a chance to see it. A question-and-answer discussion and a light meal will follow the screening. Tickets are $10. Proceeds support the Center for Jewish Nonviolence.
