The 48th annual Pacific Northwest Sportsmen’s Show returns to the Portland Expo Center, 2060 N. Marine Dr., Portland, from Feb. 15 to 19. Find hundreds of fishing and hunting exhibitors, guides and outfitters, clothing, new gear, boats, ATV’s, tents, kayaks and experts as well as the Kids’ Free Trout Lake. Public lands advocate and hunter Randy Newberg will offer daily Q & A sessions on public lands hunts for elk and other big game. Camp Eureka is a demonstration area with a backpacking campsite, a family camp and an overlanding camp. Everything in these camps is for sale. The Kayak Bass Pond, a 60’ x 30’ indoor pond in Hall C, is the centerpiece of the largest kayak sale west of the Mississippi. Top kayak fishing experts will be in their kayaks on the indoor pond, presenting seminars all day, every day of the show. The show also includes a Head and Horns Competition; bring your antlers, horns or head to have it entered into a competition for prizes.
