80th Annual Chrysanthemum Show

The Vancouver Chrysanthemum Society will hold its 80th annual flower show, “80th Ruby Anniversary,” from 2-5 p.m. Oct. 25 and from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 26 at the H.H. Hall Building, 10000 N.E. Seventh Ave., Vancouver. Admission is free. See prize-winning exhibition size mums, floral arrangements, bonsai style and garden variety mums. FFA students from Hudson’s Bay High School will also enter floral arrangements. Cut mums will be available for a donation. Meet chrysanthemum society members to learn about growing and caring for this beautiful, autumn blooming flower; the public is also welcome to attend the society’s monthly meetings at the 78th Street Heritage Farm. Admission to the show is free.
