In Mulieribus presents “Songs of Loss and Lamentation”

The women’s vocal ensemble In Mulieribus will perform from 8 to 10 p.m. Oct. 20 at St. Philip Neri Church in Portland. The program explores the universal human journey through loss and mourning to healing and peace. Music includes songs by Dufay, Lassus and Morales, as well as new works for women’s voices, like “Lux aeterna” by Sungji Hong and selections from “Six Medieval Lyrics,” an arrangement of medieval love poetry by William Brooks.
