African Fashion Show at Alberta Abbey

The third annual African Fashion Show and Art Auction is 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 31 at Alberta Abbey, 126 N.E. Alberta St., Portland, sponsored by Women’s Lifestyle Coaching CEO Rukshana Triem. Through The Firmina Foundation and Hopeful Hearts, the fundraiser will benefit a school in Milange, Mozambique, and a disability school in Mulanje, Malawi. The show celebrates culture, sisterhood, diversity and empowerment with African drumming, African dresses designed by local designers and an art auction and wine tasting.
