“Art in the Pearl” Fine Art Festival in Portland’s Pearl District

Art in the Pearl Fine Arts and Crafts Festival, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 3-4 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 5, will celebrate 26 years with a spectacular selection of contemporary artwork in Portland’s North Park Blocks, between Northwest Davis and Northwest Flanders Streets at Northwest Eighth Avenue. Art In The Pearl is Portland’s largest outdoor art fair, drawing thousands of people to its beautiful location under a canopy of trees. Located on two park blocks within the Pearl District, the accomplished artists, selected from a rigorous jury selection process, will be available to greet the public, present their art and discuss their process and inspiration behind it. There will be ample space between the artists’ booths to prevent overcrowding in one location. Roving musicians will be circulating instead of a
central stage as in past shows. The festival perimeter will be gated as a way to maintain a safe attendance level, offer a directed flow of foot traffic through the show and provide an additional level of security.  Parking is available at City Center lots on Northwest Broadway and Couch and Northwest Park and Northwest Glisan.
