Backpack Giveaway at Verizon-Cellular Plus

Verizon-Cellular Plus in two Clark County locations (in Salmon Creek at 12914 N.E. Hwy. 99 and in Washougal at 3307 Evergreen Way) will give away free backpacks filled with school supplies from 10 a.m. to noon July 27. The backpack program is supported by contributions from employees, customers and vendor partners. An internal employee donation drive was organized, and stores are also accepting donations from customers to assist as many families as possible. All donations stay within the local community. The backpack and school supplies are completely free; no purchase is necessary to qualify. A child must be present with an adult to claim their free backpack.
