The Clark College Concert Band presents its Winter Concert at 7:30 p.m. March 12 at Skyview High School, 1300 N.W. 139th St., Vancouver. Admission is free but donations to the Clark College Music Department are welcome at the door.
The concert begins with Andrew Boysen’s “Kirkpatrick Fanfare,” followed by Jodie Blackshaw’s “Catango 5,” a lively piece featuring a saxophone quartet and band, and Alfred Reed’s “Armenian Dances.” There will also be music by Johannes Hansen, Dmitri Shostakovich, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Malcolm Arnold, as well as the Clark College Percussion Ensemble.
