The next event in Clark County Historical Museum’s Speaker Series is “Orugas a Mariposas,” 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at Fourth Plain Forward, 3101 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Suite 101. The speaker is Diana Avalos-Leos, an advocate, community leader and a champion for youth and families with a background in addressing issues of health equity and social justice. Diana is the founder and executive director of Latino Leadership NW, founded in 2011, a grassroots movement to address the academic and leadership needs of BIPOC youth in SW Washington.
