Community Roots Collaborative hosts site tour on O Street

Community Roots Collaborative (C-Roots), a nonprofit developer of tiny homes for Clark County residents exiting homelessness, invites the community to the ground breaking event and site tour for the organization’s newest location on Vancouver’s O Street. Guests of the event, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. May 3 at 3600 O St., Vancouver, will be the first members of the public to view the new facility and surrounding grounds.

Through a blended community approach, C-Roots provides safe, sustainable housing solutions to those exiting homelessness while collaborating with service providers and other referral partners who provide wraparound services to ensure that residents receive ongoing support. The O Street project will accommodate up to 38 adults and children. The property’s existing structure, the former Sikh Community Church building, will be renovated to accommodate 12 Oxford-style homes. Brand-new tiny homes installed on the surrounding grounds will accommodate seven or eight additional individuals or families.
