Community Safety and Wellness Day

The McLoughlin Heights Church of God will host a Community Safety and Wellness Day from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. June 28 at 901 Winchell Ave., Vancouver. This free public event brings together local organizations — including the American Red Cross, Clark County Historical Museum and the Clark County Food Bank — for activities, education and entertainment. Attendees can learn emergency response techniques at the Red Cross CPR Training Booth; explore heritage at the Clark County Historical Museum booth; sign up for free smoke alarm installations and fire safety education; shop for treasures at a White Elephant Sale; and enjoy raffles and games. The day will conclude with a worship service at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary.
