Conscious Consumption: Cooking with Leftovers

The Cascade Park Public Library will host “Cooking with Leftovers,” 6-7:30 p.m. April 3, a demonstration workshop presented by Stacey Tigner-Loy from WSU Clark County Extension SNAP-Ed. Tigner-Loy will encourage attendees to embrace their culinary creativity and make a positive impact on the environment through mindful purchasing, storing and cooking. The presentation covers meal planning, food storage and creative ways to use leftovers. Stacey will share how she creatively transforms leftover ingredients into new meals.
