Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead

The city of Vancouver and Vancouver Ballet Folklorico invites the community to the annual Day of the Dead celebration from 2-8:30 p.m. Oct. 18 in Esther Short Park. This tradition honors departed loved  ones and celebrates the joy of life. Attendees will find traditional Mexican dances, glowing luminarias, guest artists, catrinas, ofrendas or altars and free family activities. Enjoy music, food, crafts, vendors and prizes for best dressed catrín or catrina.
