Fired Up! Firefighting Summer Camp for Young Women

Cascadia Tech Academy and Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue will host Fired Up!, an all-girls camp designed to ignite confidence while introducing young women to the world of firefighting. The three-day camp, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 9-11, is open to girls entering their freshman through senior year of high school who are interested in a career in firefighting. The cost is $20, including lunch and a t-shirt. Sessions will be held in two locations: July 9-10 at 21609 N.E. 72nd Ave., Battle Ground; and July 11 at 911 N. 65th Ave., Ridgefield.
