Forest Under Siege: Book Lecture on the Gifford Pinchot and Annual Meeting

Attend a presentation by Rand Schenck on his recent book, “Forest Under Siege: The Story of Old Growth After Gifford Pinchot.” The book examines 100 years of forestry in our national forests through the primary lens of what happened in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The event is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 16 in Room 120 of Hanna Hall on the Clark College campus. A brief business meeting for the Suksdorfia Chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society is at 6:45 pm. The event is free and open to the public. To register email suksdorfia@wnps.org.
