Free Tax Preparation – VITA

Ren Locus will offer free income tax return preparation at Three Creeks Library, 800-C N.E. Tenney Road, Vancouver (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays); Fourth Plain Community Commons, 3101 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Ste. 101, Vancouver (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays); and Vancouver United Church of Christ, 1220 N.E. 68th St. Vancouver (1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Assistance is available from Jan. 30 to April 15, except March 16, Feb. 14 and Feb. 19. Ren Locus offers this service to qualified people in Southwest Washington through the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. Qualified individuals are:

• People who generally make $64,000 or less
• Persons with disabilities
• Limited English-speaking taxpayers
