In-Person Repair Event

Columbia Springs will host an in-person repair event from 10 a.m. to noon June 29 at the Cascade Park Library, 600 N.E. 136th Ave., Vancouver. Bring broken household items to be fixed by experienced volunteer fixers for free. All items must be small enough to be easily carried by one person (no microwaves, gas engines, or holiday string lights). Acceptable items include small appliances like toasters, mixers, lamps; vintage radios; tools to be sharpened, like knives, scissors or pruners (no saw blades, hedge trimmers or chainsaw blades); clothes for mending or hemming or rips or zippers repaired; jewelry and small home decor items; bicycles, wheelchairs and walkers.
