Kentucky bluegrass group Kenny Stinson and Perfect Tym’n will join the Pacific Northwest folk-pop duo Phoenix for a concert at the Old Liberty Theater, 115 N. Main Ave., at 7:30 p.m. March 11. Tickets are $23 at oldlibertytheater.com/buytickets or by calling 360-887-7260.
Stinson signed a recording contract at age 16 to sing Southern gospel music with his family. After touring and recording for several years, he performed with several bluegrass groups, including Jimmy Martin and Gary Brewer, Gary Waldrip, Dayle Eskridge and James Monroe. In 2008, Stinson formed his own band, Kenny Stinson & Perfect Tym’n, with his wife, Rhonda, and son, Gavin.
Phoenix, a regular performer at Bluegrass and BirdFest, consists of award-winning songwriters, performers and recording artists Tim and Kathy Crosby. Having performed from Las Vegas to Nashville, the Crosbys are known for their songwriting abilities and entertainment style.
