La Center Our Days

La Center Our Days Celebration is a hometown community festival in downtown La Center and Holley Park, 1000 E. Fourth St., on July 25 and 26. This year’s theme is “Going Renaissance.” The festival includes a Twilight Parade from 8 to 9:30 p.m. July 25 and kicks off on July 26 with a 5K fun run/walk from 8 to 9 a.m.; a car show, vendor market and a kid zone from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; a beer garden from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; a beautiful baby contest from 11 a.m. to noon; bingo from 1 to 2 p.m.; and a “Who Takes the Cake?” game from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
