Lilac Days at Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens

Hulda Klager Lilac Gardens, 115 S. Pekin Road, Woodland, will host Lilac Days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 19 through May 11, Mother’s Day. This year marks the garden’s 50th anniversary. See and smell a huge variety of blooming lilacs and buy lilac starts for your own garden. Visit the museum (located in the barn) featuring photos and memorabilia of Hulda Klager and her family. The Klager farmhouse will be open for tours every 15-20 minutes from 1 to 4 p.m. daily. Purchase raffle tickets for a lilac-themed quilt and peruse the lilac-themed items in the gift shop. Admission is $10 for adults. Children ages 12 and under are free. On Mondays, seniors age 62 years and older are $5. Parking is free. Learn more at lilacgardens.com. • April 30: Military Day
• May 3: 50th anniversary celebration and live music with Hollywood Ukulele Group
• May 9: Live music with John Buck and Clay Dye
• May 10: Hulda’s birthday celebration and live with Madrigal Singers
