Litter Cleanup at Frenchman’s Bar and Youth Kite Flying

The Watershed Alliance of Southwest Washington will host a Litter Cleanup and Kids’ Kite Flying Day at Frenchman’s Bar from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 26. Volunteers and kite-flyers should meet at Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park, 9612 N.W. Lower River Rd., Vancouver. Litter clean-up is 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and kite decorating and flying is 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Volunteers should dress for the weather with closed-toe shoes and bring their own snacks and water.
