
WSU Extension Clark County will offer “Living On the Land: Stewardship for Small Acreages” from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 7-Dec. 16 at the 78th St. Heritage Farm in Hazel Dell. The program brings in local experts to teach stewardship principles to small acreage land caretakers. Experts will give advice on pasture and livestock management, managing weeds, caring for your forest, improving wildlife habitat, soil health, storm water management and well and septic maintenance. The course includes optional field trips. The cost for the entire series is $45 per person or $60 per household.
