Grapevines are wonderful producers of luscious fruit, but they require consistent annual pruning to be at their best. Join the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners for a hands-on workshop on young (1- to 3-year-old) grapevine pruning and propagation from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 17. Participants may take cuttings home if desired. The first part of the workshop is watching a video at home. The second part is hands-on practice in a demonstration vineyard. Students will need to walk five to 10 minutes up a steep hill. Students should dress for the weather and bring water, garden gloves and a pair of sharpened loppers or hand bypass pruners. The cost is $10. Participants must register at eventbrite.com/e/hands-on-in-person-introductory-grape-pruning-workshop-tickets-764135749597?aff=oddtdtcreator.
