Meaningful Movies Ridgefield presents “Paper and Glue: Can Art Change the World?” from 6-8 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Old Liberty Theater, 115 N. Main Ave., Ridgefield. The film highlights how art can bring out the beauty of humanity  in some of the most unjust situations. After the film, hear from guest speakers Abby Braithwaite, founder of the Plas Newydd Farm Arts Initiative and volunteer facilitator for Write Around Portland; Aziza Mansuri, mixed media artist/illustrator and former world history and 2D arts teacher; Sharon Svec, multimedia artist, technical illustrator and curator; and Ricky Gaspar, Pacific Northwest artist specializing in Polynesian tattoos and designs.
