Northwest Oboe Seminar and Concert

The 31st annual Northwest Oboe Seminar is accepting applicants until July 31. This seminar for intermediate and advanced oboists is Aug. 16 at First Evangelical Church in Vancouver. The seminar’s featured guest is oboist and composer Alyssa Morris, associate professor of oboe and music theory at Kansas State University and principal oboist for the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Smoky Valley. The fee is $125 to participate or $40 to audit. The seminar will culminate in a public concert at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are$15 at the door.
