Northwood Public House Hosts Crab Feast and Live Music

Northwood Public House and Brewery, 1401 S.E. Rasmussen Blvd. Battle Ground, is celebrating nine years as a Battle Ground landmark with an all-day Crab Feast from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. March 4. Live Dungeness crab will be brought in directly from the coast and cooked fresh throughout the day by Nehalem Bay’s “crab impresario” Kelly “The Crab Guy” Laviolette. Served alongside the fresh crab will be New England clam chowder, coleslaw and garlic bread. A half crab meal is $35 and a whole crab meal is $45. Guests will be entertained with live blues music. From 1:30 to 4:15 p.m., hear Billy D and the Hoodoos. From 6 to 8:30 p.m., Kevin Selfe and the Tornadoes will perform. Call 360-723-0937 for reservations.
