Picnic in the Park

The Historic Trust and city of Vancouver will host Picnic in the Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 6 at Fort Vancouver Historic Site, Parade Grounds and Officers Row. The free, family-friendly event features two stages with live music for adults and kids, games on the lawn like corn hole and croquet, magicians, face painting, a climbing wall, historical reenactments, walking tours and weaponry demonstrations. Attendees should pack a blanket. Snacks and food are available from local vendors as well as a beer tastings and a beer garden for those over age 21.
