Rhapsody in Blue: The Centennial Concert, a Celebration of Gershwin

The Historic Music Preservation Project will celebrate the 100th anniversary of America’s most iconic jazz composition, George Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue,” at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 and 2 p.m. Feb. 11 at Fort Vancouver High School, 5700 E 18th St., Vancouver. The Ne Plus Ultra Jass Orchestra will feature pianist Kevin John McElrath in an arrangement created by the soloist specifically for the ensemble. Singers Alexis Hamilton and Pamela Jordan will join the orchestra. Tickets are available at tickettomato.com/event/8440 and tickettomato.com/event/8441. Tickets range from $20 to $30.
