
iQ Credit Union will host a free Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon April 19 in Abrams Park, 400 Abrams Park Road, Ridgefield. Kids up to age 12 are invited to search for “plaid tickets” among 20,000 eggs hidden in the park. Winners in each age group can choose an Easter basket from the prize table. The event includes cotton candy, coffee from Lava Java, hot chocolate from Cocoa Classics and Candy Shop Cocoa, as well as crafts and activities. Tractor Supply will offer bird house kits and coloring; TNT Cheer Athletics will offer face painting; Team Serface-Cornerstone First Mortgage will offer photo opportunities with 4H bunnies; and Quick Start Sports will offer sports activities. Columbia Play Project’s Mobile Children’s Museum will be on site with toys and games, science activities, giant bubbles, a parachute, foam rocket launchers and a set of Builder Boards.
