The free, family-friendly Ridgefield Forest Fair is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 5 at Abrams Park, 400 Abrams Park Road, Ridgefield. The fair features 20 artists selling original art and artisan products. The fair beings at 11 a.m. with a Tiny Parade of Tiny Gardens led by dancers from Northwest Classical Ballet. Live music on the Burris Stage starts at 11:30 a.m. and will feature Aram Arslanian, Barrie Dempsey and The Carlin Band. Ridgefield Main Street will host the Beer and Wine Garden. Wood-fired pizza will be available from Bella Bee Pizza. The event will also include a family craft area, selfie stations and a Tiny Garden Contest. Applications for booths and the tiny garden parade and contest can be found at ridgefieldartassociation.com/applications. Artist applications must be submitted by July 30 and registrations for the Tiny Garden Contest are due by Aug. 1 (though day-of-festival entries are also welcome between 10 and 11 a.m. Aug. 5; register at the Parade Shelter.
