Fourth Plain Forward will host an event for people to learn more about the “Stepping Forward” business incubator at Fourth Plain Community Commons, located at 3101 East Fourth Plain Blvd., from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 26.
This brand-new opportunity is a seven-month program designed to lower start-up cost barriers, promote diversity and nourish the selected participants with all the resources they need to launch their dream business successfully. This program is catered to BIPOC community members who live within the limits of the City of Vancouver.
Eligible candidates will be English proficient, over the age of 18 and with zero to one year of food business experience. Selected participants will receive program benefits such as: seed money, access to the Fourth Plain Community Commons Commissary Kitchen, access to a community market, business website, business coaching/marketing and more.
