
The Water Resources Education Center will host “The Hidden Journey of Wastewater” from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 24. What happens to the water that goes down your drain? Where does it end up? How is it cleaned? What should and should not go down your drains? Tour Marine Park Wastewater Treatment Plant to learn about the journey of used water. Walk to the Columbia River to learn about the riparian ecosystem and see where clean water is released. Register at cityofvancouver.us/events/the-hidden-journey-of-wastewater/. The rain-or-shine tour is for adults and children eight years and older. Closed-toe shoes are required.
