The Historic Trusts hosts Summerfest, June 25-Aug. 26

Enjoy music, art and words all summer long on the patio and lawn at the General O.O. Howard House on The Historic Reserve at 750 Anderson St., Vancouver. Enjoy live music, theater, poetry and art demonstrations by members of the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society. will theater and poetry, and demonstrations from local artists. Attendance is free and guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics. Here’s the line-up of dates and activities:

• 2 to 4 p.m. June 25 – Bluegrass and Americana by Fadin’ by 9 and Sweet Papaya Arts with an art sale and mosaic demonstration
• 2 to 4 p.m. July 9 — Denver-based Owen Kortz with classic folk and rock songs plus family activities with the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardeners
• 6 to 8 p.m. July 19 — Country and blues with Catherine Loyer and Strawberry Roan
• 2 to 4 p.m. July 30 — TBA
• 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9 — Introducing the Machine, country-folk-rock by Sarah Arslanian and Eileen
  Cowen
• 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 20 — Blues and rock with Takin’ the Fifth plus kids’ art activities with Drip Drop Art Studio
• 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 26 — National Play Music on the Porch Day
